Heat-treated 30MnCrB5 boron steel holds 48–52 HRC — longer edge life and fewer breakages than common 65Mn in hard Indian soils.

It is a boron steel with manganese and chromium. In rotavator blades it stays sharper, lasts longer, and bends or cracks less than normal carbon steel.
Why is it better than 65Mn?
30MnCrB5 wears slower and hardens deeper. 65Mn is cheaper and more flexible, but 30MnCrB5 is better for hard soil and heavy work.
What hardness should blades have?
48–52 HRC. Hard enough to last, not so hard that they snap.
Are these blades good for Punjab soil?
Yes. Wheat–paddy fields, heavy stubble and hard soil need strong blades. 30MnCrB5 holds up under high tractor power.
Will I change blades less often?
Usually yes. Better wear resistance means fewer stops and lower cost over the season.
How do dealers check quality?
Ask for hardness reports, mill certificates, size checks, and even heat treatment. We keep the same quality in every batch.
